You retain ownership of all data you upload to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process the data solely for the purpose of providing and maintaining the Service.
All software, design, and content of the Service are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, accurate, or suitable for any particular educational, legal, or regulatory purpose.
The Service is designed as a general-purpose educational tool and does not guarantee compliance with any specific legal, regulatory, or institutional requirements. Users remain responsible for determining whether use of the Service is appropriate for their circumstances.
We do not make any representations regarding academic decisions, grading outcomes, student progression, or institutional reporting based on use of the Service.
We are not responsible for any failure or delay in performance due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to internet outages, hosting failures, or acts of nature.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the preceding 12 months, if any.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if your account is dormant for more than one year. You may stop using the Service at any time. Data handling upon termination is described in our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
